Greenhouses
A greenhouse buys you six to eight extra weeks on both ends of the Kentucky growing season. We build the frame and cover; what you grow in it is your business.

Metal or wood
Metal frame greenhouses use the same steel tube we build carports from. They last, they do not rot, and they take wind well.
Wood frame greenhouses look better beside a house and are easier to screw shelving and hooks into.
Siting it
South-facing with no afternoon shade from buildings or trees is what you want. Morning sun matters more than afternoon sun for holding heat.
Think about water before you pick the spot. Carrying buckets fifty yards gets old in July.
Level ground, same as everything else we build.
Delivered and installed within 180 miles of Nancy, Kentucky
Our own crew delivers and sets the building — we do not hand you off to a contractor. Anywhere inside the 180-mile circle is covered, which reaches Lexington, Louisville, Bowling Green, Knoxville and Nashville. Outside it? Call us, we can often work it out.
Questions we get asked
- Does it include heating or venting?
- No. The frame and covering are what we supply; heaters, fans and automatic vents are added by the owner.
- Will it hold snow?
- Metal frames handle a normal Kentucky snow. Clear a heavy wet snow off rather than trusting any greenhouse covering with it.
